Gobs  (Group  Of  Banker's)  is  the  organization   formed   for  coaching  and training of  the  students  for   various  certificate  courses  on  banking and finance.  Many   senior  bankers  are  associated   with  this  institute  exclusively  for   imparting  their  long  and  rich  experience   and  building  the careers  of  the   student s  opting   banking.

Scope
The  banking  industry   has  under gone  sea  changes in the  past   two  decades. With  the  introduction of the  reforms  in  banking and  allowing   further  opening of the   Private  Sector Banks;  Many  new generation  private  banks  have    come  in the   market   like  ICICI, HDFC,  Axis Bank, IDBI, Kotak  Mahendra Bank, Yes Bank, Indusind Bank. These  banks   are  yet to  enter the semi urban and  rural   area  and  are e  approaching  RBI  for  licenses  for opening branches  in these  areas. The  foreign  banks   are  also  entering  in the  Indian Market. RBI has allowed further licenses to foreign banks like Royal Bank of Scotland, GE Capital, Credit Suisse, Industrial Commerce Bank of China, Goldman Sac, UBS, Barclays, Lehman Bros.

After the  introduction of    Voluntary   Retirement  Scheme   by   most of the  Public  Sector Banks  in the  year  2000-2001, the  man power  in   all these  banks has  down sized  But  due  to increase  in business with  the  introduction of  various  non  core  products   more popularly  known  as  third  party  products there  is  turn   in the  man power requirement .The  PSU Banks  are also planning  to   increase  man power  particularly  specialist and  marketing  staff.

All  the   above  factors  have  lead  to   tremendous  scope of   employment  in the  banking  Industry .

Besides, we have started coaching of the diploma courses of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance   for the  existing  bankers to   enrich their  knowledge .

Methodology
We  have  adopted  a  method  of  training  on   line as well as   on  site  to   keep  the  students  fully  involved  and  participative  during the  courses . The  students   who  have been   registered   with   us  will  be  permitted   to access   the  study material on   our  website. On line  tests   will also  be  held  to  judge  the  performance  level  of the participants  periodically.
